Elena Moschini is the Head of Student Experience and Academic Outcomes for the School of Computing and Digital Media. Before joining London Met, she worked in the multimedia industry in Switzerland, Italy, and the UK, where she managed and developed a number of interactive projects.

Research projects

  • DAMTAG Symposium Emergent Design for Playful Engagement - 28 October 2009 - Organised in collaboration with the Digital Arts Media Technology Action Group (DAMTAG). A Symposium to explore new digital art and design methodologies and communities of practice that firmly put the user at the heart of the action.
  • The Secrets of Biblioland game is an educational interactive game designed to develop information literacy skills and awareness of the historical developments of scholarship, the role of libraries and knowledge repositories, the value of literature research, cataloguing resources, using libraries and searching engines, appropriate referencing and issues on plagiarism. The Secrets of Biblioland project has been supported by ESCalate, The Higher Education Academy: Subject Centre for Education. The project has been awarded an ESCalate Development Grant.

  • A conference on digital media theory, culture, practice and play. The conference explored interaction and engagement with new digital media environments including mobile and ubiquitous media, new cinema, gameplay, wired spaces, and networked communities.
