Postgraduate student Maren Hentschel investigates sequence learning in black children with and without a diagnosis of autism

Postgraduate student Maren Hentschel carries out a follow-up study on sequence learning by Lange-Küttner, Averbeck, Hirsch, Wiessner & Lamba that was published open-access in 2012 in Frontiers of Psychology http://www.frontiersin.org/Developmental_Psychology/10.3389/fpsyg.2012.00127/abstract.  

Her study compares sequence learning in black children with and without a diagnosis of autism in Lagos, Nigeria and in London, UK. Testing of children in Nigeria was funded by Play Smart Concepts, Autism Associates Lagos and The Zammar Institute Abuja as well as parents of some autistic children who in the past also received treatment by Maren who is a certified Occupational Therapist (Ergonomics).
