Exam Track
ExamTrack provides timetable and location information relating to exams on Undergraduate Degrees, HNDs, Extended Degrees, taught Masters programmes and professional courses. It covers exams at both City and North Campuses, but does not cover exams taken at collaborative partner institutions.
The unroomed timetable for the 2011/12 Semester 1 exam period was published on the afternoon of Monday 12th December 2011, and the roomed version on Friday 6th January 2012.
For further information on exam locations and how to find them, please see Exam Room Locations
The search facility indicates only the main location exam room. Where alternative locations are arranged for individual students these are communicated in other ways, including by email directly to those students.
For further information about exam processes and requirements, including those relating to alternative locations, please see beneath the search facility on this page. Before attending exams students should be familiar with the advice and requirements explained in Exams - Guidance for students.
Examination and other Assessment Information
All students should be familiar with the assessment information provided on the Academic Registry pages on the University's website. (Choose the Coursework & Exams key link at the bottom of the page.)
The Academic Registry pages provide full details of all assessment processes, together with necessary forms and all deadlines and other dates. This is designed as the primary communication channel to students for all assessment matters, so it is essential that students understand the information published there. In addition to information about various types of exams, the site covers publication of results and awards, querying results, coursework submission processes, actual coursework tasks for the summer reassessment period, mitigating circumstances and appeals, and arrangements concerning use of bilingual dictionaries (not allowed in exams unless students follow the procedure described). Students are expected to note and comply with deadlines and procedures published on this site.
Alternative exam arrangements
Clash of exams
If you find you have a clash of two exams on the same morning, afternoon or evening you should advise this immediately, by completing and submitting a Notification of Clash form. If this is done in time, arrangements will be made for you to sit both exams on the specified day in a separate location. See the Further information section below for details.
Special Examination Arrangements
If you have a need for Special Exam Arrangements agreed with the Disabilities and Dyslexia Service, then before the start of each examination period you should advise the particular exams that you propose to take under special conditions, by completing and submitting a submitting a Request for Special Examination Arrangements form (form M1). See the Further information section below for details.
Taking exams abroad
If you wish to apply to sit one or more specific exams overseas rather than at the designated London Metropolitan University exam location, you should apply by completing and submitting a Request to Take Examinations Abroad form. See the Further information section below for details.
Further information, including deadlines and forms
Full details of each of the above options, including applicable deadlines and the forms which need to be completed, are available via the Coursework and Exams link at the Academic Registry home page.
Please pay particular attention to the deadlines as it is unlikely that the requested arrangements can be delivered if you apply after the deadline.
The better way of submitting a form is to download it from the website, complete it, then email it as an attachment to the specified email address, which ensures it is received immediately by the correct function. However the alternative is available of completing a hard copy of the form and handing it in at your UG / PG Office, where staff will pass it on to the Assessment function which deals with the arrangements required.
