Flexibility is the key to this programme, and those joining the course will benefit from:

• a convenient balance of distance learning and attendance at short courses
• a convenient timescale - delegates will normally complete the course within a 3 year period of study.

The combined experience and excellence of provision at the Open University and London Metropolitan University provide this flexibility through:

• quality Open University distance learning modules
• specialist and established short courses at the University of North London
• tutorial sessions during the short courses offering opportunities to become familiar with the full range of practical equipment used in the Polymer industry

The above will be supported by:

• additional support learning material for the short courses
• tutorial support by Email, phone, fax and computer disc.

Students will have the flexibility to select a range of advanced option modules to meet their career aspirations and to set the pace at which they progress through the programme. These options will provide support for a broad spectrum of careers from professional technological expertise in manufacture to a managerial path.
