The London Metropolitan Polymer Centre also runs a short course programme.

Although a specialist subject, the study of polymers covers a wide range of subject areas - chemistry, engineering, design and technology. It therefore attracts a wide range of students.

Many are already working in the polymer industry and feel the need to develop a specialist understanding, entering either degree or Foundation, University Certificate and post-graduate courses, full or part-time.

Mature students are welcome at the London Metropolitan Polymer Centre, where experience and the advantage of a modular scheme of study enables us to match a course to each person's academic background, work experience and needs.
