The London Metropolitan Polymer Centre has the staff expertise and equipment to undertake a wide range of work for industry. The Centre's extensive laboratory facilities contain a full range of processing, testing and characterisation equipment. The processing equipment is pilot/small manufacturing scale and is suitable for mixing, compounding and moulding developmental batches of rubber and plastic materials.

What is KTP?
KTP is a Government scheme, which helps companies access the knowledge and skills within the UK's 'Knowledge Base' (universities, colleges, independent research and technology organisations, and Government funded research institutions). Through the KTP programme, the Government provides financial support for companies to improve their business activities and/or develop new approved products or services.
Do you need specific training?:
The Centre provides a full programme of short courses at its premises each year covering plastics and rubber processing, materials, mould design, product design and testing.
Courses tailored to meet the specific requirements of your company can also be arranged to take place at our Centre or on your premises. Please ask for further details.
