Academic Placements Abroad for Students
Academic placements abroad during your degree at Londonmet
Do you want to go abroad during your degree?
There are two types of placements which students can take advantage of. These are either European exchanges (Erasmus) or Bilateral exchanges with Universities outside Europe, which we are at present developing. For more information, see the University website and do contact the International Office, which deals with all exchanges (Erasmus/international).
For example, if you study in GIR, you may spend a part of your second-third year at another institution in Europe. At the moment, these include The Complutense University (Madrid), the Institut d’Etudes Politiques – Bordeaux, Stockholm University, the University of Bilgi (Istanbul), Bologna University and Wroclaw University. If Law is part of your programme, you have access at the moment to the Rene Descartes University (Paris) and the Copenhagen Business School.
On the other hand, the Department also has links with Universities in the US and Japan which you may apply for. Every year we send one-two students to each institution, so be aware of the competition. For any complementary information, contact d.blondel@londonmet.ac.uk.
