Professor Korff before European Parliament Committee
Professor Douwe Korff of London Met University has been invited to make a presentation and take part in a debate by the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs of the European Parliament. The discussion is on Data Protection in a Transatlantic Perspective on Monday 25th October 2010.
This concerns a future EU-US international agreement on the protection of personal data when transferred and processed for the purpose of preventing, instigating, detecting or prosecuting criminal offences, including terrorism, in the framework of police and judicial cooperation in criminal matters.
The hearing will be webcast from the European Parliament.
