I joined the university as a Senior Lecturer in Primary Care in January. I previously taught on Sheffield University a BA Health Studies degree and an early childhood HND programme for the University of Huddersfield whilst at Barnsley College. I have been involved in public health projects at various levels in my career and my interests include evaluative research on HIV and health promotion interventions in Sub-Saharan Africa. I have also worked on projects that have evaluated student utilisation of services in Nigeria. At London Met I am responsible for continuing professional development in the health area and teach on modules in health care and health policy. I am also course leader for the Health Studies joint degree.
