Applied Social Sciences at London Metropolitan University, are an exciting, multidisciplinary set of subject areas available across a range of academic disciplines. We are one of the largest social science communities in the UK, offering over 40 high quality undergraduate, postgraduate and short courses.

Underpinning our teaching is a commitment to high quality research. We also have a number of specialist research centres and institutes that offer consultancies and research often in conjunction with our wide network of partners in the public, voluntary and private sectors as well as universities and research centres both in the UK and around the world.

We are focused strongly on employability. Through our relationships with professional bodies we are well placed to help our students to build their careers. We also provide a range of consultancy and professional development services to employers.
