About Us
The aim of the Centre is to provide an integrating, overarching framework for applied research, consultancy, teaching and professional development within the fields of Occupational, Organisational, Business and Consumer psychology.
The key objectives of the centre are:
- To provide a range of post-graduate courses that reflects the evidence-based practitioner approach within professional psychology (see below for further information).
- To develop and support both staff and student research. Our current key staff research areas includes: mergers, acquisitions and outsourcing; the older worker; corporate social responsibility and sustainability; and relationships at work (see research for further information).
- To provide a consultancy service applying psychology in the workplace (see consultancy for further information).
- To establish and maintain a network of links with national and international organisations, through links with other universities, businesses and professional bodies (see networks for further information).
