Bloomberg Research and Trading Room

Unique Asset

Londonmet is one of only a few Universities in the UK to offer direct use of Bloomberg data, information and analytics. Access is through a suite of Bloomberg terminals in a dedicated simulated dealing room in the Business School and also via our Library.

What is Bloomberg?

It is the financial services leading provider of market data, news and analytical functions used globally in bank dealing rooms and investment houses.

How is it used in our courses?

Bloomberg data is used in many of our postgraduate and undergraduate courses to provide similar experiences to those operating in current financial organisations in researching, analysing, modelling and decision-making. Studies may be of a fundamental or technical market position including several financial market products.

The Benefits

This facility gives our Londonmet students a competitive advantage when seeking employment. The Bloomberg training enables job seekers to quickly contribute to the employer's business and may be viewed as a similar skill set to being able to use Microsoft Office. Our aim is to provide students with the theory and practical Bloomberg experience to succeed in the financial, banking and related markets.
