Research Interests
Research into the effects of interactions with various media outlays (such as television and video gaming). Most research has been directed within the area of emotional changes and conflict resolution. Recent research has been with Sony Corporation in relation to the psychology of engagement in computer games and with the British Science Museum investigating the potential effects on health (more specifically the immune system) of different aspects of video games. Other research concerns personality and mood.
