Having just been through one of the first QAA Subject Reviews under the new regulations I would like to confirm that the approach has shifted very much from 'teaching and learning' to detailed scrutiny of student work.

The team of reviewers visiting us double (and triple!) marked student work (blind) against the criteria used to check the marker concerned.

Accurate documentation of all moderation discussions is imperative. As you say, if it ain't documented it ain't done (even though it had been!!!) We got 21 (I know you're not supposed to add them up!!)
