| Deliberations is an international website on issues of learning and teaching for the higher education community. It was set up in 1995 with funding from the eLib (Electronic Libraries) Programme with staff and project management initially divided between London Guildhall University and Kingston University.
Deliberations is based in the Centre for Academic Professional Development (CAPD) at London Metropolitan University and is currently funded and fully supported by the university. The editor is Anne Morris, Senior Lecturer in Educational Development at London Metropolitan University.
Deliberations is designed to act as:
- a resource for academic and all other staff supporting learning and teaching in higher education around the world. Material is arranged under the headings of "generic" and "subject-specific" learning and teaching issues, and "other" educational matters.
- an interactive forum for participants to discuss and develop ideas, and identify resources that will develop their practice. For further information on the forum see deliberations-forum.
Content includes:
- extracts of published articles in learning and teaching
- case studies on teaching and learning
