The Caribbean Studies Centre was established in 2002, building on the success of the longstanding programme in Caribbean Studies offered by the University, the only such programme on offer in the UK.

It is hoped that the Centre's website will become a useful resource for all those interested in the Caribbean, its history, society, culture and everyday reality.
