Facilities
Our students have access to our brilliant libraries, our state-of-the-art £30 million science centre, seven stories of computers in our technology tower, free Wi-Fi, a simulated Bloomberg trading floor, interpreting suites, multi-media studios and many more specialist facilities.
Campuses and local life
Our buildings are dotted around London, but mainly in two centres: Skyscrapers sit amongst cafes and galleries around our City buildings; while our north London campus sits within a buzzing multicultural community, full of lively bars, shops and lovely parks.
Student services
We have an expert Student Services team which specialises in giving advice and support to our diverse body of students. These dedicated staff members can help with accommodation, money issues, visas and other issues students are faced with.
Social events and entertainment
Students here have a huge range of social events and entertainment to choose from. There are more than 50 societies you can join, including the Urban Music Society, Dance and Drama and the London Met Feminists - or you can start your own! Our chill-out areas, cosy cafes and our famous bars, the Rocket Complex and the Hub, are ideal for catching up with old friends and making new ones.
Students' union
Getting involved in the London Met Students' Union (MetSU) is a fantastic way to make a difference in the University. MetSU is a democratic organisation giving representation, advice and support to all our students. The Union also runs its own popular radio and magazine.
Sport and fitness
A huge range of sport and leisure activities are on offer at London Met, ranging from aerobics to skiing. Whether you like competitive sports or want an individual fitness programme, our qualified instructors will help you to maximise your potential and find something that you really enjoy. Facilities include two modern fitness gyms, a full programme of fitness classes and the chance to represent the University in competitive sport.
Accommodation
In a cosmopolitan city like London, it is vital that you have somewhere safe, affordable, and comfortable to live. The team at our Accommodation Bureau are here to help you make that search as smooth as possible. Do get in touch with these helpful advisors.
