Our facilities
Students at London Metropolitan University have access to a wide range of state-of-the-art facilities to assist in their learning and development.
Just some of our specialist facilities include:
- Our seven libraries, including two wonderful special collections: the internationally renowned Women's Library, housed in a refurbished Victorian bath house; and the fascinating Trades Union Congress Library Collections.
- Our spectacular newly refurbished learning centre and library on Holloway Road is a superb meeting and study area, which includes media booths and a lovely library cafe.
- A £30 million science centre, which is one of the largest teaching labs in Europe. One key feature is the SuperLab, which gives students a cutting edge experience of learning science. Take the virtual tour.
- The Technology Tower at our North Campus houses seven floors of computers.
- We have free Wi-Fi, a simulated Bloomberg trading floor, interpreting suites and multi-media studios.
- Our Graduate Centre is an architectural icon designed by renowned architect Daniel Libeskind.
- A flight simulator, an invaluable resource for our Aviation students.
- Our sports and recreation facilities include two modern fitness gyms and an Olympic standard basketball court.
- Two fantastic bars, The Rocket Complex and The Hub, which are regularly featured in the London Time Out magazine.
- We have a mock courtroom, which helps our law students prepare for life at the bar.
