About this course

  • Attendance is full time, from Mondays to Fridays, 10.00 a.m. to 1.15 p.m.
  • Students are encouraged to undertake independent study in the afternoons daily
  • Total hours per week 30: 15 hours in class & 15 hours of self-study
  • Maximum class size is 18 students
  • Study materials are included in the price of the course
  • Our courses cater for students going onto foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. (Pre-Foundation course students usually follow a General English preparation course)

This course is for you if...

  • You have applied for a degree course at London Met, and have received an offer from the Admissions Department which is conditional on your reaching a certain level of English or includes a Pre-Sessional English course
  • You want to improve your Academic English language and study skills

Entry Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced levels of English.
  • If you have an IELTS score, we will be able to recommend the appropriate length of Academic Pre-Sessional English course required to commence your degree programme at London Met
  • If you do not have an IELTS score, we may be able to arrange for your English level to be assessed.

Course fees also include all course books, access to the library and Language centre, a student card, free internet and WiFi access, free membership of our online community, a full induction programme, one-to-one tutorials, as well as a comprehensive social programme and full access to all other University facilities.

There are NO extra fees for course application, CAS application, or document couriering fees.
