Explore alternative routes into study

From specialised study routes to subject‑based browsing, we'll help you find the best way to study with us.

  • Undergraduate degrees including a foundation year
If you can't meet the entry requirements for an undergraduate degree, you may still be able to gain entry by completing a degree with a foundation year.
  • Top-up degrees
Study the final year of an undergraduate degree and upgrade to a full undergraduate degree. This is ideal if you have a foundation degree or Higher National Diploma, or wish to study the final year of your degree in London.
  • Short courses
Study a short course at London Met to develop your skills or learn new ones. Short courses are a great way to improve your career prospects or fulfil personal interests.
  • International pathway programmes
Prepare for undergraduate or postgraduate study at our on-campus International Study Centre. Our pathway programmes help international students improve their skills, English and confidence.
  • Global partnerships
We work closely with a number of partner institutions both in the UK and overseas to deliver courses that lead to a university award, giving you the opportunity to study with us in your own country.
  • Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships allow the apprentice to be employed full time, being paid, whilst learning and gaining a qualification in their chosen occupational area.
  • Research degrees
Research and knowledge exchange are central to the culture of intellectual enquiry at London Met.
  • Routes into teaching
We offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses to start your journey into teaching.
