Learning & Teaching Practice
It has been specifically designed for part-time and hourly-paid academic staff (HPLs) and for any PSD (Professional Service Department) staff who facilitate student learning in their role. Those who successfully complete the course will be eligible for Associate Practitioner status of the Higher Education Academy. Additionally, completion of the LTP course provides credit for the first of the three modules for the PGCert Course should you choose to study further in the future.
Potential participants are likely to include:
- hourly-paid lecturers (HPLs / VLs);
- Academic Liaison Librarians;
- careers officers;
- peer support officers;
- academic staff on 0.4 FTE contracts or below;
- employability officers.
