Learning and Teaching Conference 2011

WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE HOME OF LONDONMET'S ANNUAL LEARNING & TEACHING CONFERENCE - Organised by CAPD - soon to become the Centre for the Enhancement of Learning & Teaching (CELT)

This year the conference will take place on Tuesday June 28th, from 10am to 4.30pm with a post Conference reception until 6pm.

The theme this year is Engaging Our Diverse Students  – and we envisage there may be sub-themes represented in the contributions, such as

  • the university culture and student identity
  • managing transitions into, through and beyond HE
  • embedding learning development / academic literacies
  • work-related learning & developing employability across the curriculum
  • assessment-as-learning
  • feedback for learning and teaching
  • promoting internationalism / cosmopolitanism
  • learning in a digital age
  • building communities of learning
  • recognition of experiential learning
  • students as partners in learning design and research
