Learning Support for Students - The Learning Development Unit
The Learning Development Unit (LDU) offers a range of provision that is free for all students who are keen to improve their study and academic skills. These include courses, workshops and drop-in study support. Topics covered include research skills, essay and report writing, delivering presentations, writing at university, critical analysis, basic IT, maths and stats, and undertaking dissertations and large projects.
All our courses, workshops and drop-ins are run at several different sites and, as well as the daytime sessions, most are also run in the evening for students unable to attend during the day.
