Cleaning

The delivery of cleaning, waste management and pest control services within the University has been under continual review as part of ongoing institutional efficiency savings. Out of this the below cleaning schedule has been established.

There are plans to increase the University’s recycling levels from the current 27% and it is envisaged that improved communications together with better quality bins will start this process. More details on London Met's environmental commitments can be found here.

Requesting cleaning/giving feedback

If ad hoc cleaning is required due to spillages or littering etc or you have a specific service request, could you please raise a job via the Estates Helpdesk (ask@londonmet.ac.uk, ext. 5555) or the Estates Helpdesk Self Service page and the issue will be scheduled as part of the reactive janitorial service.

Feedback on cleaning services can be given using the Helpdesk Questionnaire. This questionnaire is linked to at the end of the email sent out upon completion of a job requested through the Helpdesk.

Estates will continue to monitor the standards of cleanliness and feedback will be used to meet future requirements.
