The ASD RIBA Part III course has small cohorts of around thirty students and a format of sixteen weekly lectures/seminars that encourages interaction between staff and students, and between the students themselves. Examination arrangements follow the new RIBA regulations. The asssessment consists of • a PTR/statement of experience and intent; • a case study • two unseen, written papers of 135 minutes based on a scenario issued a week previously and lastly • an interview of 45 minutes. All elements must be passed. Admission to the course is by written application and the course tutor, Gordon MacLaren, welcomes personal e-mail enquires (g.maclaren@londonmet.ac.uk). The pass rates average at about 80%, with 80% of re-examination candidates passing. The course emphasizes outcome-oriented management skills, not purely administrative skills. Non London Metropolitan University Diplomates are welcome. For additional information on the RIBA III course please visit: +http://www.wyattmaclaren.com/tcp.htm
