In an increasingly tough and fragmented profession, how do we prepare our students for the world beyond the school?

By engaging it. We are committed to expanding the possibilities for creative and courageous engagement (and to tackling those parts other schools don't reach - sorry, couldn't resist!) at the highest level. Design drives the speculation within the school, used as both tool and intention.

We will encourage you to unravel architectural theory; to explore new material and technological opportunities; to delight in the poetry and craft of making buildings; to use environmental and green issues in innovative ways; to use management techniques with imagination and political systems with sophistication; in short, we will ask you to research, experiment and invent proposals that match the needs of our complex and multi-faceted world.

You will find that the teaching is demanding. We seek students who want to do something with their skills - find the opportunities to build, teach and write; win competitions or clients; make a team or a policy or both; devise clever innovations or harness the will of a community.
