International Students with Families
Finding affordable accommodation for families in London can be difficult so it is advisable to begin your enquiries as soon as you have secured a place at the university. At present, the University does not manage any accommodation suitable for couples or families. The Student Accommodation Bureau can however help you to find suitable accommodation. There are two main options; private rented and hostel accommodation.
Private Rented Accommodation needs to be arranged while you are in London as it is essential that you view properties before signing any agreement or paying any money. We strongly advise coming to London alone first to arrange the accommodation before the arrival of your family.
There are a wide range of hostels across London that cater for international students, some of which have special accommodation for students with families. This type of accommodation tends to get booked up well in advance so it is important to start looking as soon as possible. The Student Accommodation Bureau has created a comprehensive list of hostels in London with a separate section for hostels catering for students and families.
