The Wash Houses
Originally the Whitechapel Public Baths, this historic Victorian building has been transformed into a contemporary event space with traditional features; the floor's stone outline shows the original location of its sunken bath. This East End landmark also currently houses the historic Frederick Parker collection.
The hall benefits from plenty of natural light and immediate access to an outside courtyard. Equipped with a full AV system, the room’s front projection screen can be reinforced with wall mounted plasma screens, which are also able to display independent content and digital signage. The maximum capacities are:
- 200 reception/standing
- 160 theatre style
- 96 cabaret style
The venue is connected to the Goulston Street complex, allowing a number of breakout rooms to be used in conjunction with the main hall.
