All staff and students have free access to the Learning Centre where the university locates a wide range of resources entirely dedicated to student learning. There are similar facilities at Ladbroke House.
The 8,700 square metres of the Learning Centre hold the main book and journal collections, computing and audio-visual facilities, bookable rooms, areas for students to work together and individual quiet study spaces. The sources of information include audio and video materials as well as a growing catalogue of networked information services, available both within the University and remotely.
The Centre also houses the extensive language learning facilities which are available to students and staff taking advantage of the Open Language Programme; the Learning Workshops area; and the Independent Learning Unit for students with disabilities.
